Deer Park Dollars for Scholars is a locally operated and supported, non-profit, tax-exempt scholarship foundation, run by community volunteers that raises scholarship money to assist Deer Park High School graduates to reach for and achieve their educational goals. If you have questions about the Deer Park Dollars for Scholars program or are interested in sponsoring a scholarship, please contact Bill or Flo Moore at 276-7070.

The Deer Park Area Dollars for Scholars is a chapter affiliate of Scholarship America.  As such, its awards are matched by 5 educational institutions in Washington State and many others nationwide.  If you’re a student in the class of 2011 or if you’re a parent of one of these students, please click the following link for a downloadable scholarship application: SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

 SCHOLARSHIPS HAVE BEEN UPDATED FOR THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR!

Deer Park Auto Freight Award – one $250 award:  Use in Second Term in Washington State only.

Don Meyer Memorial Scholarship – one $400 award:  Use in Second Term in Washington State only.

Deer Park Education Association’s Jim Davis Memorial Scholarship – two $750 awards.

Matthew F. Hjelm Memorial Scholarship – one $500 award.

Eickmeyer Farms Fund – one $500 award.

Friends of the Deer Park Library – one $1000 award.

Friends of the Deer Park Library – one $500 award:  Requirement: studying for Library Technician.

Tri-County Driving School’s Dave Franklin Memorial Scholarship - $750 award. Requirement: student of Tri-County Driving School class

Deer Park Rotary’s Dave Franklin Scholarship - $1000 award:  For Second Term. Separate Application Form at DPHS Counselor’s Office.

Deer Park Dollars for Scholars’ Linda Davis Award – $500 award.

Deer Park Area Dollars for Scholars – $500 to $1000 awards.

Awards are available for Colleges, Technical Schools, Vocational Schools, and Community Colleges.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:   3:00 P.M. ON APRIL 20, 2012.
