Welcome to the 2009-10 school year at Deer Park High School. Our students, staff and administration strive to create a positive school climate by demonstrating mutual respect for everyone that enters our building. DPHS has a talented staff that cares deeply about student learning.

“It’s Your Future” is the theme at Deer Park High School. This theme reminds our students to make good choices. Students are constantly encouraged to make educated decisions that will have a positive impact on their future. Whether in the classroom, on the athletic fields, or through participation in one of our club activities or student organizations, every student is encouraged to get involved and challenge themselves. Students are asked to explore personal interests and to get involved at school. By making good choices and setting goals for the future our students will succeed and excel both in the classroom and in their extra-curricular activities.

We are currently in the final year of an extensive remodel of Deer Park High School.  On January 2, 2010, we will open our new counseling center, computer labs, special education classrooms and library.  The support that our taxpayers proivde is greatly appreciated.

Deer Park is a community based high school. Our staff and students are proud to be ambassadors of Deer Park. We value the support of our parents, community members and local businesses. We know that parent support is a key ingredient to student success so please take the time to review the student handbook and talk to your student about his/her schedule.
