			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The DPHS office and counseling center will begin their summer break, Thursday, June 24.  We will return to the office on Wednesday, August 18.  </p>
<p>Any student who did not receive a semester 2 report card due to a fee and/or fine will need to pay this during registration in August or when school starts in September in order to receive your report card.  </p>
<p>New Student and Returning Student registration is scheduled for Wednesday and Thrusday, June 25 &#038; 26 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and again from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Leo&#8217;s Photography will be here to take student pictures and ID pictures.  </p>
<p>During registration you can pay for ASB cards ($30.00); Yearbooks (cost varies depending on selection chosen &#8211; see August 1 mainlin); and pay lunch monies.</p>
<p>We hope you enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled summer break!  </p>
<p>First day of school is Wednesday, September 1 and school begins at 8:25 a.m.</p>
<p>The High School does not have a specific supply list for students.  Because there are a variety of courses students can take while in high school &#8230; Teachers will let students know on the first day of school all supplies they will need while in their class(es).  Students will want to bring a pen, pencil and paper for the first day of school.</p>

This is a wonderful opportunity for freshmen kids to link-up with &#8220;Link Crew Leaders&#8221; who have been selected by their peers to mentor frosh kids entering the high school.<br />
We hope all incoming frosh kids will attend this worthwhile activity!<br />

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Class of 2010 Graduation Commencement will be held in the HS Auxiliary Gym due to the threat of inclement weather.  The doors will open at 5:15 p.m.  All graduates must report to the Auxiliary Gym at 4:45 p.m. for group pictures.<br />
In an effort to accommodate everyone, a closed circuit tv will be broadcast in the wrestling room/cafeteria area of the graduation commencement.  The overflow area maybe helpful for those families with small children.  Thank you and we look forward to seeing you at the Class of 2010 graduation commencement for Deer Park High School.</p>
<p>From the parking area you will be able to enter into the HS Auxiliary Gym from the southwest corner by the gyms or the area between the future auditorium and gym entrance.  There will be signs posted for your convenience.</p>
<p>Congratulations to all our graduates!  We are proud of you!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Class of 2010 Graduation is scheduled for Saturday, June 5 at 6:00 p.m. at the football stadium.  All graduates must arrive at 4:45 p.m. and meet in the auxiliary gym.  Leo&#8217;s Photography will take a group picture at 5:00 p.m.  </p>
<p>Senior Breakfast and Slideshow is Friday, June 4 at 9:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.  Graduation practice is at 10:00 a.m. in the cafeteria.  ALL graduates MUST attend Graduation practice, including Running Start Students (Running Start students MUST contact Mr. Feist personally if there is a school conflict and they are unable to attend practice.  Mr. Feist can be reached by phone at 468-3507 or stop by the main office prior to Friday, June 5).</p>
<p>Deadline date to return the Class of 2010 Graduation Agreement Form, name change/correction on diploma and partner to walk with is Friday, May 14.  This paperwork is to be turned into Sherry Rollins in the Counseling Center. (Running Start students these forms were mailed to you on Friday, April 23).</p>
<p>Senior Finals are Thursday May 27 (Periods 1, 2, &#038; 3) and Friday, May 28 (Periods 4A/4B, 5 &#038; 6)<br />
Senior Sneak Day &#8211; Silverwood Trip is Tuesday, June 1 from 8am-5pm.<br />
Senior Idea &#8211; Laserquest Trip is Wednesday, June 2 from 9am-2:30pm<br />
Academic Awards Evening is June 2 at 6:00 p.m. in the Gym.<br />
Annual Distribution and Ice Cream Social is June 3 at 2:05 p.m.</p>
