welcome freshmen!!

Frosh Orientation Reminder

Don’t Miss out! Plan to attend the 2010 “Link Crew” Frosh Orientation Day, Monday, August 30; orientation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 1:00 p.m. Freshmen students will meet in the DPHS Auxiliary Gym and will be “on-the-move” for the rest of the day, so be sure to dress comfortably and “travel lightly!” It is highly encouraged that all freshmen leave their personal belongings at home.

This is a wonderful opportunity for freshmen kids to link-up with “Link Crew Leaders” who have been selected by their peers to mentor frosh kids entering the high school. We hope all incoming frosh kids will attend this worthwhile activity!

Looking forward to seeing you on August 30 at 9:00 a.m. All freshmen are encouraged to attend!

school is out for summer break!

School Starts on Sept. 1st

The DPHS office and counseling center will begin summer break on Thursday, June 24. The main office will re-open on Wednesday, August 18.

Students who did not receive a semester 2 report card due to a fee and/or fine will need to pay this during registration in August or when school starts in September in order to receive a report card.

First day of school is Wednesday, September 1 – school begins at 8:25 a.m.

We don’t provide a “pre-published” supply list for high school students. Because there are a variety of courses students take while in high school, teachers will let students know on the first day of school all supplies they will need while in their class(es). Students will want to bring a pen, pencil and paper for the first day of school.
