Archery to State

On Saturday March 20 the Deer Park Archery Team loaded the bus at 7:00 am and went to Ellensberg to compete in the 5th annual State Archery Tournament. There were approximately 250 archers ranging from elementary to high school age. The Deer Park High School Team consisted of 7 girls and 8 boys. The girls team consisted of Mykaela Hendrix, Autumn Ashton, Julie Jordan, Jessica Aebischer, Michelle Jennen, Larissa Britton and Sara Cessnun. The boys team consisited of Kale Austin, Stephen Pharr, Jeremy Beal, Scott Engeldinger, Brandon Engeldinger, Ryan Allison, Tyler Honaker and Josh Barnard.

The team placed 2^nd in State.

Individual awards went to the following:

1^st place Girls High School : Sarah Cessnun

1^st place Boys High School: Josh Barnard

2^nd place Boys High School Scott Engeldinger
